When Matthew had started driving, he was driving his parents’ Mercedes on a dark and stormy night. He managed to turn and hit another car, sending himself into the ditch. The point he makes is that there are things in life that shape your life, and how you respond to that is critical.
What does that have to do with finances? A lot of people have had bad experiences with finances, between market corrections and the Recession; there is a lot of negativity toward finances and the reaction they have to anything financial is that they are scared. Matthew wants you to take action and take control of your finances and be “financially winning.”
